Through the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned program, refurbished, low-mileage Mercedes-Benz vehicles are offered with a number of unique benefits, including warranty, financing and dealer inspections.
What Vehicles Qualify for Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned?
Not all pre-driven vehicles are eligible for CPO status. In fact, only a select few make the cut, and they must meet stringent standards during a dealer inspection. All vehicles must pass a rigorous 162-point inspection, including a road test, a complete engine examination, and a 32-point appearance inspection, among several other component inspections. Vehicles that do not pass these examinations either do not qualify for the program or are completely refurbished to MBCPO standards.
Can I Lease a Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle?
Yes. All Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles are available for lease, which offers you a chance to drive home in a near-new C-Class or M-Class without a long-term commitment. Financing is available for many leased vehicles. Plus, leasing enables drivers to drive the vehicle for up to 3 years before exchanging it for a new one.

In addition to the 162-point inspection, Mercedes-Benz Certified vehicles come with a number of other benefits, including:

- Zero-Wait Service Guarantee; pick up or drop off your vehicle at a Mercedes-Benz dealership in 10 minutes or less

Are Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles Backed by Warranty?
Yes. All Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are backed by a bumper-to-bumper MBCPO New Vehicle Limited Warranty. This includes one year of coverage for unlimited mileage. An additional Extended Limited Warranty can be added to include 1 or 2 years of extra unlimited-mileage coverage. You can drive as much as you want – the warranty covers it.
When Does Extended Limited Warranty Coverage Begin?
The Extended Warranty begins as soon as the New Vehicle Warranty and CPO 1-year unlimited-mileage warranty ends. Mercedes-Benz vehicles are protected from the moment they’re driven off the lot, with the New Car Warranty, until the Extended Limited Warranty ends. The New Car Warranty which lasts for the first five years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, overlaps with the Limited Warranty.
What is the Vehicle Exchange Program?
All CPO Mercedes-Benz vehicles are backed by a 7-day/500-mile exchange program privilege. During the first 7 days of ownership or the first 500 miles, whichever comes first, you have the option to return the vehicle to the dealership and exchange it for a Mercedes-Benz of equal or lesser value.
Do I Have to Pay A Deductible?
No. This is a benefit exclusive to the Mercedes-Benz CPO program. The Extended Warranty eliminates all deductibles and fees associated with parts or labor.
Who Will Honor the Warranty?
When you purchase or lease a CPO Mercedes, the warranty will be honored by the entire network of more than 300 authorized Mercedes-Benz nationwide. In other words, service includes OEM genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and the expertise of certified maintenance technicians.
